Utilizing Gitzo’s patented G-Lock Ultra leg locks, the GM2542 has the ability to support up to an impressive 66 lb while weighing just 1.1 lb.
The monopod reaches a maximum height of 64.6″, enough to meet the height requirements of most shooters, and features a reversible 1/4″-20 & 3/8″-16 mounting thread for adding an optional monopod head if extra height or articulation is needed.
At just 21.3″ long when folded, the GM2542 is easy to pack within a suitcase for travel or strap to a backpack for day and overnight hikes.
